Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WUD (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use WUD. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use WUD with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation with anyone, or create accounts to evade enforcement actions against you.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use WUD to:

• Post or share content that is illegal, harassing, abusive, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, defamatory, or invasive of another's privacy.
• Solicit or facilitate illegal activity, including the sale of regulated goods to anyone not legally permitted to buy them.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Send spam, unsolicited promotional content, or excessive pings to users who haven't opted in.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure; reverse engineer, decompile, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities except through a coordinated disclosure process.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, scripts) to access, copy, or interact with the Service without our written permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or networks connected to it.

4. User content

You retain ownership of the content you post on WUD ("User Content"). By posting User Content you grant WUD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and modify (for example, resize photos for thumbnails) that content solely as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required by law or to protect other users.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence and that your User Content does not violate these Terms or any third-party rights.

5. Moderation + enforcement

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to users or to the Service. Reports of violations can be made through the in-app reporting tools.

We do not endorse User Content or guarantee its accuracy. Plans you see on WUD are user-generated proposals; attending real-world activities is at your own risk.

6. Real-world activities

WUD helps users coordinate spontaneous plans in the real world. You are solely responsible for assessing your safety before, during, and after any in-person meetup. You agree that WUD is not responsible for the conduct of any user — online or offline — and that we make no representations about other users' identity, intentions, or suitability.

7. Third-party services

WUD relies on third-party services including Apple, Google, and cloud-infrastructure providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of third-party services.

8. Termination

You may stop using WUD and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if continued access poses a risk to other users.

9. Disclaimers

WUD is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WUD and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, in connection with your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the prior twelve months or (b) USD 50.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WUD and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your use of the Service.

12. Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the app or by updating the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WUD's operators are based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
